Dare to look

Sunday, November 9th, 2008

The last one of this years series, I hope to get some great new photo’s next year but this is what I have for now.

The Sunflower looks naugthy if it did something bad but the his fake smile kinda tells you it did.

Again a great photo for me and thanks to the person that took the time to make it I now have a small series of Sunflower Heads for everyone to enjoy year round.

Hang in there

Driving by this old shed made me want to stop every time but it took a couple of times before I did and lucky me it was still standing.

I think the only reason why this old building is still standing is the luck the the old steel fence poles are strong enough to hold it, if those poles where not there the shed would have bin a big wooden puzzle.

A building like this askes for a final photo before it can pass on to it’s next life as firewood.

Sneaky Smile

Friday, November 7th, 2008

This one I just don’t trust his smile is just to sneaky to me :)

The person who made all those faces is great they really make you enjoy the Sunflower maze even more.

For me the pictures are so priceless they just show you a sunflower but then the missing seads make you see a face.

Where is the building?

Parking the car to go for a little walk through the Ingelwood are in Calgary this was the first thing I noticed.

It is the side of an old building and it just looks so neat all those pieces of wood and then the doors and windows just trying to say come true me and enter a new world.

Again the old makes it beautifull to take photo’s of great lines and just a great picture.

Meany

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Another sunny day another Sunflower Head so here is mister Meany he looks like he is not the most fun guy to hang around with. Lets hope that his neigbor sunflower does not mind him to much.

When I took the photo’s of these sunflowers I just had to do it but it did not do to much to me but now when I look back at the photo’s I really like them and can’t believe that I did not like then at first.

Role it away

Hay all rolled up ready to be transported to a farm where some farm animals can enjoy a feast this winter.

Driving by this photo made me stop and back up. I did not even leave the car to take this shot but I could also not take it.

The colors make it work for me the bright sky and boring browns make it all in to a great photo for me. What do you think about it?

I like old things and this rusty door handle was great specially with the wood pieces going to it. Rust makes great colors and shapes it just screams at you to be on the picture.

And of course Canon did it again by bring out the colors just the way I wanted it.

Mister Sad Sunflower

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

Mister Sad Sunflower is the first of a serie of sunflower heads that I ran in to at a sunflower maze in Bowden here in Alberta (Canada). It is fun to see how people take the time to make a face out of something like this.

This one looks kinda sad I wonder if he misses the sun.

Take a picture of this was easy as it is hard to just neglect it.
