The light was wrong and that is why I could not get the slow shutter speed I wanted for the shots of the Sheep River Falls. Not even my town ND filters gave me enough room for longer exposure.

<p>It almost looks like I took a photo of Ice but no this is just the waterfall.</p>

This photo was taken in the Sheep River Provincial Park and aperently this is where the sheep graze in winter. Apernently the plains stay snow free even in winter and that while we are in the middle of Kananaskis Country.

<p>This is the proof that nature photography is not that difficult.</p>
<p>So last Saterday I drive in to Sheep River Provincial Park here in Alberta (Canada) and there right next to the road was this mama Moos eating some of the tree&#8217;s while her two young where enjoying themselves a bit behind her.</p>
<p>Of course you need to keep your distance specially when young are involved but this Moose kept an eye but let me come fairly close .</p>
<p>But that does not mean that it becomes easier to take the shot you are hoping for. I tried to take picutres of the baby moose but the only thing they wanted in the pictures where there behinds. And even this mother Moose did not want to part from the tree she was standing behind.</p>
<p>A well at least I got some shots of a Moose in the wild.</p>

I shot this picture at the lookout on the Elbow Falls (not in the picture) and I like the way the Ice made the view to the river nicer.

<p>At the first showing of this picture people thought it was Tulip. And that is wrong of course.</p>
